TOURISM PROJECTS TOP CLARK INVESTMENTS
Clark Field, Nov. 23, 1997 - Investors find tourism projects the most attractive propositions, as shown by the latest figures released by the Clark Development Corporation.
Various tourism projects have posted the biggest amount of investments inside the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ), filling up 30% of the top 20 investor-firms.
At the top of the list is Golden Fortune, a British Virgin Islands-registered firm, with P30 billion committed for its tourism resort complex. The project at the Clark sub-zone involves the construction of four casino-hotels, each with 2,000 hotel rooms, destined to become a recreational Mecca in Southeast Asia.
The second largest investment is for a hotel and golf course resort complex, financed by the Sacobia Hills and Development Corporation. The firm is setting up True North, a P4.84 water theme park with luxury villas and shopping mall spread out in the Sacobia Valley portion of Clark.
