NEW LOOK FOR PIONEER RESTO TEMPURA-MISONO
Pasay City, Nov. 13, 1997 - The pioneer Japanese restaurant Tempura-Misono of the Hyatt Hotel, which first opened it's doors 27 years ago, now sports a totally new look.
The renovation perfectly captures the Japanese country-style setting which the restaurant now typifies, with malachite, grass, dark wooden interiors and other rustic accents.
Tempura Misono now has five different sections -- a main dining area, show kitchen, three tatami rooms, a sushi counter and four misono tables in the teppanyaki room.
The main dining area looks out to an outdoor garden, with a view of lush greens and serene fountains. The show kitchen in full view of diners bustles with activity as a team of culinary experts swiftly prepares ala carte dishes under the supervision of new Japanese Chef Shinji Furukawa.
Chef Furukawa has an impressive 16 years of experience with prestigious hotel chains in Bahrain, Jakarta, Dusseldorf, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. He teams up with Tempura Misono's Restaurant Manager Albert Seeland, who went on a familiarization study tour of Japan to absorb the latest trends in restaurant operations.
