TIGER WOODS TO PLAY A ROUND AT CLARK

Clark Field, Nov. 21, 1997 - Tigermania will soon hit Philippine shores. Tiger Wood, the golf phenomenon with the booming drives and charming smile, is due to arrive next month to play a round at the Mimosa Golf and Country Club inside Clark Field.

Smart Communications, a leading phone company, will announce details of the sports event of the year next week. Woods is expected to arrive on December 17 and play one game at the Mimosa the following day.

As in most of his tournament and exhibition appearance, Woods will hold a clinic for junior golfers during his brief visit.
