FOREIGN BIGGIES IN ASIAN ZONAL KARTING TILT
Cavite, Nov. 16, 1997 - Three Italian factory drivers and a Japanese lead the powerhouse cast in the FVR Cup 1997 CIK/FIA Shell Asian Zone Challenge from November 27 to 30 at the Carmona Circuit.
Italy's group is composed of Anthony Davidson of Fullerton, Richard Kall of PCR and Roberto Tonenelli of Haase Racing. They will compete in the premiere Formula Super A class against Morisawa's Tomokazu Ochiai, Asia's biggest hope in the event which is also the 4th Philippine International Karting Prix.
Ninety karters from 10 countries have so far confirmed their participation.
