ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR GOLF TOURNAMENT IN DECEMBER

Baguio City, Nov 1, 1997- The internationally played Camp John Hay and Baguio Country Club golf courses will be the site of the 1997 International Amateur Golf Tournament, on December 1-6 this year. Last year's tournament champion, the team of Manila Southwoods will be defending against the teams from Hawaii, the USA, Japan, Guam, Korea and other entries from all over the world

It was also reported that the 18-hole golf course at Camp John Hay will be re-designed by the group of golf pro legend, Jack Nicklaus, upgrading the course to a par-70 world-class golf course. [Exclusive for the DAILY NEWS ASIA newsrover].
