RUFFA'S EX IN DRUG AND GUN CASES
Pasig City, Nov. 30, 1997 - Currently facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and drugs before the Pasig Regional Trial Court is Dennis da Silva, first serious boyfriend of Ruffa Gutierrez in the good old days of "That's Entertainment" of Kuya Germs Moreno.
According to court records, Dennis was arrested in a police sting in 1995 with nine sachets of shabu and a handgun.
Dennis has asked the court to re-investigate his case, claiming that he has evidence to defend himself.
Judge Jesus Bersamina has postponed arraignment proceedings pending resolution of a petition to transfer the case to a different venue.
