REGAL'S THREE FILM STUDS

Manila, Nov. 27, 1997 - Regal Entertainment has found three macho studs who now appear regularly in their sex dramas: former models Toffee Calma and Leo Rabago and former "That's Entertainment" regular Jeffrey Gonzales.

All three currently share equal billing opposite Aya Medel in "Dalagang Dagat" directed by Tata Esteban.

Leo and Toffee complain that their fellow models scoff at them for accepting bold roles in sexy movies. Jeffrey feels the same antagonism from former "That's Entertainment" colleagues. But all three feel they are better off than their contemporaries.

Jeffrey says that the cancellation of "That's" left many of his friends jobless. "At least ako may trabaho. E, sila, nakatunganga lang sa bahay hoping and praying to go back to show business."

The two ex-models agree. "We are now earning more than when we were just models. Modelling is a seasonal job, with long stretches of no income whatsoever."
