AGA MUHLACH'S TWO CHARITIES

Manila, Nov. 22, 1997 - Aga Muhlach is one star who prefers to spend his idle hours and his celebrity status to help the less fortunate.

For many years now, Christmas has meant distributing toys to orphans, street children and young patients in hospital charity wards. The toys are from a warehouse filled with donations to Aga's annual "MaAga ang Pasko Ni Aga" which solicits old and new toys throughout the year.

This year, Aga has gotten involved with helping the hearing-impaired. Through Aga's efforts, many of them get trained and land jobs. They are now being hired by the Jollibee food chain to work in the fastfood stores in various capacities.

Aga's charitable deeds endear him to fans, they cultivate a wholesome image for the actor and for the movie industry which needs squeaky-clean models to dilute the scandal-and-drugs reputation given by many actors and actresses.
