RUFFA BREAKS UP WITH FOREIGN BOYFRIEND

Manila, Nov. 19, 1997 - Whoever he is, he is no longer Ruffa's boyfriend.

Movie writer Ros Sta. Cruz of the Evening Tempo writes today that Ruffa Gutierrez is presently loveless. Ruffa reportedly admitted that she has broken up with her English boyfriend.

Quoting radio station DWST (as in "ang radyo ng showbiz tsismis"), Ros reports that Ruffa decided to part ways with the guy because they can't seem to understand each other.

It seems that her beau had often asked her to marry him, but she kept refusing because she is not yet ready and her dreams for her career have yet to become reality.

So, reports Ros, her career became the cause of many misunderstandings and lovers' quarrels, so they both decided to quietly and peacefully part ways.

However, Ruffa claims she's still hoping that in the end, the two of them will find each other again and live happily ever after.
