WEDDING BELLS SOON FOR JOMARI AND AIKO?

Manila, Nov. 16, 1997 - The Philippine Journal's Entertainment and Sports columnist Gladys Reyes Nievera writes that a walk down the aisle is almost definite for the lovebirds Jomari Yllana and Aiko Melendez.

Although they are not yet married and deny that a wedding is being discussed, the Yllanas already treat Aiko as part of their family.

Aiko joins the Yllanas when there are family or clan social gatherings. She never fails to attend despite her hectic showbiz schedule.

"There are five boys in the family, and they are all nice to me. Their parents, Tita Vicky and Tito Ando make me feel as if I'm a member of their family whenever I'm in their home," gushed Aiko. "In passing, Jom and I have talked about getting married. We want a simple but elegant wedding. We don't want to have a circus wedding, that's why only our immediate families and close relatives and fiends will be invited."

Aiko and Jomari have been going steady for more than a year. Aiko is waiting for Jomari's permission to star in an action film. But her boyfriend just would not say yes.
