SUSAN ROCES RETURNS TO THE MOVIE SCREEN

Manila, Nov. 12, 1997 - Susan Roces, who was last seen in Seiko Films' "Ubos na ang Luha Ko" last 1991, is making a movie again.

Susan's new film is "Isinakdal Ko ang Aking Ina" based on a DZRH soap opera which Susan has been involved in since last year. The radio program became so successful, with local listeners from Luzon to Mindanao, that Susan decided to make it into a movie.

"Isinakdal" is now a joint venture between FPJ Productions and Viva Films, to be released at the end of this month. It is directed by Mel Chionglo, who also directed her last movie in 1881.

In the story, the son sues his mother for negligence after Susan's rich father stops her from supporting the child, who's sired by a poor man. The films stars Susan with Angelu de Leon and Wowie de Guzman, Ronaldo Valdez, Gina Pareno and Eddie Guttierez.
