GINA ALAJAR IN MAJOR HOLLYWOOD MOVIE ROLE

Manila, Nov. 9, 1997 - Michael de Mesa is very proud of his wife Gina Alajar, who is right now in Los Angeles cast in an independent American film.

Gina is being considered in a major role in a Hollywood movie starring Claire Danes about American teenagers on trial in Thailand for drugs. Gina wold play the lawyer who defends them.

The movie, entitled Brokedown Palace, will be directed by Jonathan Kaplan (The Accused) and will be shot in the Philippines from December this year to February 1998.

Being considered to play Gina's husband are: Nick Nolte, Alec Baldwin or Robert Downey.
