JENNY SYQUIA REMARRIES, LIVES IN BOSTON

Manila, Nov. 7, 1997 - Jenny Syquia and Sharon Cuneta have more in common than Gabby Concepcion, to whom they were both married at one time or another. Both Jenny and Sharon bore Gabby a daughter; Sharon has KC, Jenny has Cloie. Their separations from Gabby were both non-amicable. After Gabby, they both found someone new, got their marriages to Gabby annulled, and married their true love. And now, they both live in the same city -- Boston!!

A few months ago, Sharon and husband number two Attorney Francis Pangilinan moved to Boston where Francis is on a super-duper study grant. Sharon describes her life in Boston as that of a very happy, content housewife to Francis and mother to K.C., her daughter by Gabby. And guess what? That's how Jenny describes herself also: a very happy and content Boston housewife to husband Filip Skarne, and a devoted mother to her daughter Cloie.

Jenny's husband is Swedish, the scion of a family that owns Skarne Construction which builds low-cost housing projects around the world, including the Philippines. They met when Jenny was an exchange student, and lost touch for five years during her marriage to Gabby. Filip phoned to console her during the break-up.

After their wedding, which was held in Sweden, the lovebirds honeymooned in Spain and the Canary Island, with Cloie tagging along.

Reminded of the parallelisms in their lives, Jenny said "maybe it's fate" and expressed a desire to see Sharon, whose husband Francis studies in Harvard across the river from Jenny's Commonwealth Avenue home.

Talk about a small world.
