CESAR-CHARLENE RUMORS REFUSE TO DIE

Manila, Nov. 4, 1997 - Reports continue to circulate about Charlene Gonzales and Cesar Montano being the new off-screen lovers. The rumors sounded so authentic that even Teresa Loyzaga, Cesar's ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, spoke up.

The reports on radio, TV and newspapers indicate that Cesar and Charlene fell in love while doing the movie "Kadre" which opens Nov. 5 in Manila theaters. The two both denied he report.

But Cesar tells the press that he is truly smitten, that Charlene is so easy to fall in love with.

In the beginning, the rumors were taken with a grain of salt. "It's all part of the publicity for the movie "Kadre" like all the other rumors before the showing of each movie," said some columnists.

But the stories persisted, and sound very serious. Many are asking how this affects Charlene's supposed relationship with a billionaire suitor, the top official of a family-owned financial institution.

The air will clear up once the movie "Kadre" is shown.
