TUDELA, CEBU TO HONOR FORMER RESIDENTS

Tudela, Cebu, Nov. 22, 1997 - Mayor Demetrio Granada will lead the welcome for former Tudela residents who have successfully improved their lives through hard word and who have migrated to different parts of the Philippines and to other countries. The festivities in Tudela will coincide with the Immaculate Conception town fiesta on December 8. There will be masses and religious processions and a parade of Tudela's Balikbayans and other guests, which will converge at the town plaza. In the evening, the whole town will reverberate with songs and street dancing. Open-air dining will mark the fiesta salo-salo featuring native cuisine. Tudela residents have been busy communicating with their relatives abroad to come home to be honored by their town.
