DAVAO MINING SYMPOSIUM ON ENVIRONMENT TECHNOLOGIES
Davao City, Nov. 13, 1997 - The Mindanao Association of Mining Engineers will hold its 6th Annual Mining Symposium this weekend at the Davao Convention and Trade Center. Theme of the conference is "Environment-Friendly Mining Towards the 21st Century."
Resource speakers representing the foreign and local mining sectors will share their experiences and expertise on the latest trends in environmental and mining technologies.
Engineer Lucio Castillo, association president, said "It's time the mining industry to show the public modern technologies in the utilization of mineral resources and the latest environmental practices in the global mining industry."
Attendance to the symposium will mean CPE units from the CPE Council of Mining Engineers.
