3 DEAD IN BULACAN 'CRACKER EXPLOSIONS

Bocaue, Bulacan, Nov. 12, 1997 - Two children and one firecracker store owner were killed in separate explosions in Bulacan yesterday and last week.

The fireworks seller was killed in Bocaue while his wife and three young children were seriously injured when the family's stock of pyrotechnics exploded yesterday.

The blast came following an announcement by the town mayor that firecracker sales centers are being planned along the North Luzon Expressway to avoid traffic bottlenecks on MacArthur Highway during the holiday season and to prevent improper storage.

Last week, two children died during a firecracker explosion inside their house in Sta. Maria.
