STATE-OF-THE-ART MALL, CINEMAS HIT BACOOR

Bacoor, Cavite, Nov. 10, 1997 - This town, the gateway to Cavite, now sports eight first class movie theaters and a giant shopping mall to rival the best in the heart of Metro Manila.

Governor Epimaco Velasco led government officials in assisting Shoemart chairman Henry Sy Sr in ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Sparkle and excitement were added by the presence of young stars Bobby Andrews, Angelu de Leon and Donna Cruz. Action stars Chuck Perez and Kier Legaspi also lent their presence, mingling with the crowds along with sexy starlet Izza Ignacio.

The new cinemas are a lively, kinetic sight with their LED signs flashing the film's title, MTRCB rating and the number of the theater showing them. The technology also allows the flashing of additional information such as the film's screening time and running time.

Film enthusiasts are all praise for the cinemas' first-class equipment -- Century projection machines and surround sound and digital-ready audio systems for quality viewing, comfortable seats with convenient cupholder complete the pleasurable moviegoing experience.

SM cinema is at the third level of the new SM City Bacoor along Aguinaldo Highway.
