CHAMPION ALASKA KILLS SHELL, 91-87

Butuan, Oct. 26, 1997 - Import Sean Chambers scored 28 points while team mate Jojo Lastimosa sank a personal season-high 26 as Alaska pushed Shell closer to the brink of elimination in the PBA Governor's Cup out-off-town game yesterday.

The loss was the seventh for the Zoom Masters, who are still at the last slot of the 8-team list. Alaska, on the other hand, moves to a first place two-way lead with San Miguel, both with six victories and 3 defeats.

Elimination games return to Metro Manila today, as San Miguel tries for win No. 7 in a duel with Mobiline, while Pop Cola will attempt to get out of the second-from-last hole in a contest with heavyweight Purefoods.
