STA LUCIA OVERPOWERS GORDON'S GIN 90-83
Pasay City, Oct. 13, 1997 - Sta. Lucia import Sean Green sank two free throws in regulation game against San Miguel for a 77-77 tie, forcing an extension which the Realtors ruled for a 90- 83 win.

Mobiline's win was its third in the PBA Governor's Cup elimination round, keeping it in 4th place in a three-way tie with Purefoods and Alaska. Shell remains at the bottom of the heap with six losses and zero wins.
