GARY PLAYER TO DESIGN DAVAO GOLF COURSE

Manila, Oct. 9, 1997 - Real estate developed Sta. Lucia Realty and Development, Inc has tapped legendary golf champion Gary Player to design an 18-hole championship golf course project in Davao City.

The golf course will be the centerpiece of Sun City Davao Golf and Country Club, a 150- hectare business, residential and resort complex named after Gary Player's famous courses in South Africa.

Player has designed several golf courses for Sta. Lucia in the Philippines: The Orchard in Dasmarinas, Cavite; Caliraya Lake Ridge in Laguna; Pineswood in Baguio and Tuba, Benguet.
