BUNEVACZ TO ASK FOR ANJANETTE'S HAND

Manila, Oct. 24, 1997 - It's official. Balikbayan athlete David Bunevacz will meet Anjanette Abayari's parents to ask for her hand in marriage.

The romantic event will happen New Year's Eve, at the Abayari's Los Angeles home, where the lovebirds plan to spend the holidays with their respective families.

AJ now wears a silver band on her finger, what she calls an "assurance ring" from David. "We'll be formally engaged after we talk to our parents," the two announced to a group of reporters.

The two are very compatible, both athletic and "because we both grew up in LA, we think along the same line," said AJ.

So when's the march to the altar? "It will happen much later, than sooner," was the cryptic reply.
