DINDI GALLARDO HAS FORGIVEN GABBY
Manila, Oct. 23, 1997 - "I forgave Gabby a long time ago," a smiling Dindi Gallardo told reporters at a press conference for her movie "Ipaglaban Mo Ako" which also stars Carmina Villaroel.
The former beauty queen admitted that it was a very difficult period, but she has recovered. "If I was bitter before, it was because we did not part amicably," she says, "but the bitterness is gone and I feel enough time has passed for me to keep remembering the hurt."
Dindi admits that she now had a special someone who gives her inspiration. "I just had dinner with him last night, and I asked him if he believed in God. He said yes, and I am willing to show him the way back to the Lord."
It's been an emotional roller coaster ride for her, and she thanks her family for supporting her through all the tough times. "I have been from one relationship to another. I would sulk, cry for a month, then get on with my life. I'm lucky to have a family who looks after me at times like those. I want to help friends who are close to me."
Gabby had a serious relationship with Gabby Concepcion when the actor suddenly married journalist-model Jenny Syquia, a direct descendant of President Quirino. The marriage did not last; Jenny flew t o the US with their daughter amid charges of wife beating and bigamy.
