ACE ESPINOSA, PERFECT BROTHER

Manila, Oct. 23, 197 - Ace Espinosa is never linked to any of his leading ladies, no matter how sexy, available and willing they are. He is known in the movie industry as "all work" and no hanky-panky.

Ace Espinosa, action star and lead in the Viva Films movie "Duplikado" still lives with his mother and siblings. Unlike typical middle class and upper class households, the Espinosa home does not have a maid. Each member of the family does his own laundry, and everybody pitches in with the marketing, cleaning and cooking.

Shocking? Yes. True? Yes. Ace Espinosa, star, washes his own clothes, often cooks his own dinner, sometimes even goes with his mom to the public market.

Ace has bought a Toyota pick-up for his family's use, and is paying monthly for it. His next goal is to save enough for a down payment to a house and lot for his mother and the family.

A big portion of his income from movies and TV appearances goes to sending his brothers and sisters to school. One of them has just graduated from Nursing School.

This is a dull, unexciting, but inspiring story about a star who's probably one of a handful among thousands in the Philippine movie industry.
