SHARON HOME NEXT WEEK, INFANTICIPATING?
Pasay City, Oct. 22, 1997 - The Cuneta family is tight-lipped about it and would only admit that Sharon Cuneta is coming home November 2. The press has been told that the Megastar is going to make a big announcement at the Manila International Airport upon her arrival on November 2. Pasay City politicians are crossing their fingers that Sharon would finally accept the proposal to run for mayor of Pasay City to succeed her ailing father, encumber Mayor Pablo Cuneta.
But fans of Mrs. Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan are hoping that the announcement will be about expecting a baby brother or sister for K.C., Sharon's daughter from her short-lived marriage to Gabby Concepcion.
Sharon is jetting in alone from the U.S. initially to promote the Viva movie "Nag Iniwan Mo Ako" which also stars Matthew Mendoza and Albert Martinez. She will stay for two weeks, enough time to make the rounds of all TV and radio talk shows.
Sharon will grace the lobbies of movie theaters to greet fans when the movie opens November 12; she flies home to husband Francis Pangilinan a couple of days later. Francis is on a scholarship grant in Harvard; K.C. and Sharon keep him company in a Boston home.
There are plans for a Christmas homecoming, perhaps even a concert or TV special when Sharon, Francis and K.C. all return to Manila for a Christmas vacation.
