KEMPEE DE LEON COURTING EX-GIRLFRIEND CARMINA?

Manila, Oct. 18, 1997 - Actress Daria Ramirez, erstwhile wife of comedian Joey de Leon and mother of young actor Kempee de Leon, is against her son's involvement with a married woman.

Daria confronted Kempee when she learned that the actor was sending flowers to recently-separated actress Carmina Villaroel. Kempee and Carmina were romantically involved before Rustom Padilla married the actress.

Kempee assured his mother that he had only friendly intentions when he sent the flowers. Carmina and Kempee are mainstays in a weekly TV sitcom so they see each other regularly, at least on the TV set.

Movie columnists writing for Manila's tabloids have of late been reminding Carmina to lose weight. Has she turned to compulsive eating after her very public separation from Rustom?
