VINA MORALES STILL LOVELESS AFTER ROBIN

Manila, Oct. 16, 1997 - Vina Morales is still loveless, four years after her much-publicized romance with "bad boy" Robin Padilla.

Vina told Malaya's Ethel Ramos that Robin, who is serving a 17-year term in the National Penitentiary, was her last love.

Despite their love affair, Vina has refrained from visiting Robin in Muntinglupa. She sympathizes with him, but "ayaw ko lang ma-intriga," says Vina.

It was a very memorable and romantic evening, October 17, 1993, when Robin served as Vina's escort for her debut at the Philippine Plaza Hotel. She was very much in love, and showed it to the world.

Weeks later, she broke off when she found out about Liezl Sicangco, Robin's common-law wife and mother of his three daughters. Robin married Liezl in Muslim rites while in prison last year.

Vina, who plays Sarah Balabagan in the movie about the OCW, concentrates on her career and has managed to steer clear of controversies. She's currently busy making t he rounds of TV studios to promote the movie, in the absence of the real Sarah who was last heard from in Malaysia.
