EX-NBA LEADS STA LUCIA WIN VS PUREFOODS

Pasay City, Sept. 24, 1997 - The Sta. Lucia Realtors jumped into the lead in the Philippine Basketball Association's Governor's Cup eliminations at the Cuneta Astrodome last night, by beating Purefoods Beefies 104-89.

Given much credit for the victory is Sean Green, a veteran of three NBA teams, who was responsible for a number of extra passes which resulted in easy baskets for his team mates. Green scored 24 points and plucked down 19 rebounds.

The loss was the second straight for the Beefies, and the second straight win for the Realtors.
