JEAN GARCIA PROUD TO BE JAPAYUKI

Manila, Sept 26, 1997 - Actress Jean Garcia, back from several months of absence from the local scene, was in Japan as a night club worker or Japayuki.

According to Ros Sta. Cruz of the Evening Tempo, Jean is not ashamed of her job in Japan, where she mainly danced and sang at night clubs.

But Jean admits that she also sat with Japanese customers, who gave her big tips. "I am not ashamed of that work, because my conscience is clear and I did not engage in any monkey business," Jean said.
