ALFIE ORDERED ARRESTED FOR SODOMY
Quezon City, Sept. 24, 1997 - Talent manager and newspaper show business columnist Alfie Lorenzo has been ordered arrested by the Regional Trial Court. It's Lorenzo's eight arrest warrant.
Lorenzo was hauled to court earlier by John Leward, an aspiring actor/model, who alleged that the talent manager sodomized him in a condominium unit in Cubao, Quezon City. After the initial arraignment, Lorenzo posted a P12,000 bail.
The new arrest order was issued by Judge Francisco Villanueva after the court received a certification from a psychiatrist of the National Center for Mental Health that the complainant, John Leward, is experiencing psychological trauma allegedly as a result of the sexual assault.
